Alistair Cragg sets 2006 best

Alistair Cragg showing a return to form ran the fastest mile of 2006 when he recorded a time of 3:55.04 on the indoor track at Arkansas, United States. Cragg trailed the pacemaker before taking up the running to win by some seven seconds, afterwards Cragg said ‘I didn’t think I’d run that good, it shows that an extra weeks training is huge this time of the year’.

Hopefully Alistair will be in a position to turn out for Clonliffe in the Nationals in Santry at the end of February.
