Sep 1, 2011 [Noel Guiden] In the early (Irish) hours this morning Clonliffe`s, two time Olympic finalist, Alistair Cragg ran a very solid 5,000 to finish 5th in heat 2 and qualify for Sunday`s World Championship. Alistair was positive throughout and having witnessed the slow time from heat 1 took up the running in the early laps to ensure a faster pace in this race. Always looking like he would safely qualify he finished with the lead pack in 5th place (13.39.36) to qualify automatically for Sunday`s 11.40am (Irish) final, live on Channel 4.
