Clonliffe Harriers are delighted to one again present the Brother Clonliffe Schools Cross Country on Wednesday October 11th once again generously sponsored by Brother. The event is open to both Primary Schools and Secondary Schools and will take place in Santry Demesne Parkland at the rear of the Morton Stadium, Santry.
As introduced last year the Primary schools will have 4 races: boys and girls for both 5th and 6th classes all running over 1000m from 12.00 noon with the secondary schools in action then from 1.00pm.
There will be individual awards for the top three individuals in each race and team medals for the top three schools in each race. The Lar Byrne Memorial Shield will be presented to the best overall Secondary School.
Thanks to the generous sponorship of Brother, the now world famous Brother Schools Cross Country t-shirt will once again be presented to all finishers.
The event is open to schools strictly by invitation. If your school has previously competed you ought to have received by now an invitation by e-mail however if not, or indeed if your school has not competed previously and you would like to compete please e-mail the Race Director Noel Guiden at clonliffeschoolsxc@gmail.com for further details and for an invitation.
Entry will close on October 4th and there will be no late entries (except for individuals who may enter on the day)
