Hope Saunders took a comfortable win in the junior women`s race in the Phoenix Park today in the Autumn Open Cross Country. Hope was a class apart in winning the 4k race in 14.36. In the junior men`s race over 6k Cathal Doyle had a good run placing 6th (20.09), next in was Brian Flanagan 11th (20.34), Josh Stubbs 26th (22.09) and Eoin Keating 28th (22.33).
Mark Kenneally was a surprise starter in the senior 8k race placing 8th (26.32) with Jamye Rossister breathing down his neck in 9th place a second behind.
