Clonliffe men look to add Dublin Intermediate title to collection

The Clonliffe men`s team for Sunday`s Dublin Intermediate cross country in Tymon Park  has been announced. The A team looks strong and is comprised of most the team that took the Dublin Novice title earlier in the season. One athlete expected to make an impact is Dmitrijis Serjogins who was 2nd in both the Dublin Novice and Dublin Junior cross country. Kris Valters warmed up for Sunday with a 4th place finish in the 5k Road Race in the Phoenix Park last Sunday and likewise there was a fine run last week by Clive Ahern in the Horan Cup. The Intermediate race is over 8,000m and with the good weather this week the going will be a lot better than at the Dublin seniors in Santry two weeks back.

The A team is: Dmitrijis Serjogins, Kris Valters, Clive Ahern. Fintan Doherty, Brian Hill, Tom Sherlock, Darren Reilly and Noumir Bouzain. The B team is: Ger Kirwin, Tom Frayne, Conor Keane, Johnny Bradley Ward, Joe Phipps,  Ronan O`Reilly, Daragh Cullen.

Team to meet at Club house in Santry at 12.15 or at Faughs GAA Club 12.45.
