At a damp and cold Tymon Park today the Dublin Intermediate Cross Country championships took place. There was an excellent team effort from the men`s team in particularly who were lead home in impressive style in 4th place by Sean Doran to win the Dublin title. The scoring four were Sean, Patrick Hayes, Michael Cassidy and Joey Hession with a points total of 43.
The women`s team were badly hit by withdrawals and were down to 5 starters all of who put in solid runs, Orna McGinley was first home of the team (Emma Dunne, Maura Matthews, Louise Caraher and Yvonne McDonough) the team placing 5th.
