Sep 27, 2010 [Noel Guiden] – (Updated Sep 28, 2010) The 30th running of New York City`s 5th Avenue Mile yesterday September 26th was won by Amine Laalou (Morocco) in 3.52.83. Clonliffe`s Alistair Cragg continued his good road form with a time of 3.58.59 in 17th place pretty impressive on the back of a 62:15 half marathon 7 days previously. This year`s Morton Mile winner Will Leer (USA) was 7th in 3.55.02 with another 2010 Morton Miler Sean Brosnan (USA) 19th in 4.04.92.
Interesting update: European Athletics have just published the 2010 rankings, which show Cragg featuring in the top 10 at three distances: 2nd in the half marathon (61:28), 7th at 3,000m (7.44.25) and 8th at 5,000m (13.21.66)
