Almost under the radar Fionnula made the trip to the western tip of Ireland over the weekend for yesterday`s Connemara Marathon where she enjoyed her greatest athletic success todate by winning the women`s marathon race. Fionnula ran an excellent 3:11.47 over what is acknowledged to be one of the toughest marathon courses in the country to win by a margin of over two minutes and placing a most imprssive 21st overall into the bargin.
