Nov 8, 2009 [] David Flynn showed that his recent Bronchitis episode was behind him when finishing an excellent 14th in his latest race. This ‘Regional’ Championship was the qualifier for the National Championships in two weeks time and Dave’s performance helped his University make it to the ‘dance’.
After a 16 hour bus ride to Wayne, Nebraska, David finished 4th man home on his team and 2nd First year home overall. His 14th place finish earned him the ‘All-Regional’ accolade – a highly commendable result in his first attempt. Western State were 2nd with their arch enemy Adams State convincingly taking home the title.
