It was a battle of old -v- young in last night`s Samsung Night 10k on the streets of Dublin as Gary O`Hanlon and Dave Fitzmaurice went head to head. With MSB`s John Coghlan breaking away from the Clonliffe battle it was a well rested Gary O`Hanlon (he hasn`t raced in maybe 5 days?) who prevailed finishing 2nd in 30.59 with Fitzi 30 odd seconds in arrears 31.34. The only other Clonliffe athletes in the race appear to have been Ger Prendergast (39.09) and Anthony O`Brien (41.03). A big thank you to the 35 Clonliffe members who turned out to steward the Clonliffe patch on the course, well done all.
