Road race round up: Gary is still the King of the Roads plus Raheny 5

After a week or so`s break from racing Gary O`Hanlon was at it again today, this time in the John Treacy Dungarvan 10 Mile. In a tactical race Gary took the win from Philip Harty (West Waterford) in a time of 51.20. Both men were together until 600 to go when Gary pounced. Next up for Gary the European Clubs Cross Country. Maurice McCrohan ran 62.56.

Also on Sunday the big road race of the weekend was the Axa Raheny 5. There was a big Clonliffe presence of over 25 athletes including top finisher 10th place Michael Mac Diarmada 25.53. Other Clonliffe: Tom Sherlock 28.04, Conor Keane 28.13, Clive Ahern 26.26,  Sean Doran 28.23, Philip O`Doherty 28.38, Conor Delaney 29.08, Colm Hickey 29.16, Joe Phipps 29.37, Kieran Murphy 30.44, Fionnula Doherty 32.03,  Alan Worrell 32.04,  Colm Doran 33.32, Paddy Tuite 33.41, Kevin Dowling 33.57, Emma Dunne 34.22, Colm McDomhnail 34.44, Alison O`Sullivan 34.47, Pat Devitt 35.19, Declan Murray 35.57, Clodgh Moriarty 35.55, Sinead Duffy 36.36, Paddy Devitt 37.02, Aine McCann 37.10, Fergal O`Shea 37.19.
