Jul 28, 2010 [Noel Guiden] Clonliffe`s Brian Gregan was knocked out in yesterday`s 400m heats of the European Championships in Barcelona. Brian, clearly having been affected by his ijury hit season, finished 5th in his heat in 46.90, with the first 4 only progressing to today`s semi finals. Brian still has the 4 x 400 relay to look forward to later in the week.
Still no word on whether Alistair Cragg goes in today`s 1500m semis at 8.40pm (local time). Cragg of course is a starter in the 5,000 heats tomorrow at 6.45pm (local) and all being well in Saturday`s 5,000 final.
