Clonliffe`s Greta Streimikyte competing in her first Paralympics Games at the Olympic Stadium Rio in the past 45 minutes has run an outstanding 1500 in T13 to finish 3rd in heat 2, in a very impressive 4.51.75. Heat 2 was the fastest of the two qualifiers, indeed Greta`s time would have secured her victory in heat 1, and with the first two in each plus two fastest to go through to Saturday`s final, both came from this heat. This is a major achievement by Greta, who earlier this season took European Bronze, and all her club mates wish her the best on Saturday.
