Hanlon scores for Friars in Big East Championship

Aaron Hanlon was back in action after missing a couple of races for Providence College today in Carmel. The Friars team finished in 3rd place in the Big East Championship with Aaron the 7th and final scorer on the team finishing in 23rd place in 24.40 for the 8 km race, a measure of Aaron`s performance is that me was only 39 seconds behind team mate Shane Quinn (Ferrybank). Next up for Aaron is the NCAA North Eastern qualifier on November 14th.

While Hanlon`s Collegiate career is only in it`s infancy  another Clonliffe man is coming to the end of his US adventure. Graham Mahon has been with Clarke University for the past 3 years and last weekend October 25th lined out for one of his final races for the Crusaders finishing 179th (32.06) in the Mount Marty Invitational. Graham will have his final race in the States at the Mid Western Conference next Saturday November 8th.
