Brian MacMahon went one better than 2016 today by winning the Sligo Warriors Run in Strandhill, County Sligo. MacMahon`s mountain running toughness paid off as he left John Travers (Donore) some 10 seconds in arrears at the finish of this really tough 15k multi-terrain affaire. Making it a Clonliffe double was Ireland`s top mountain running female athlete Sarah McCormack.
