The intermediate men`s team for Sunday`s Nationals in Dunboyne has been badly hit by withdrawals through injury and unavailability as a result of indoor races and next week`s national senior. Still the Captain has been in a position to put out a team that will give a very good account and won`t be found wanting through a lack of guts and determination.
Included and in his first race for Clonliffe is Anthony Flannery, a recent winner of the Cloonacool 5k road race in county Sligo. Another athlete will will go well is Dave Brady and the always dependable Johnny Bradley.
The intermediate team is: Anthony Flannery, Dave Brady, Johnny Bradley, Niall Sherlock, Conor Keane and Sean McHale.
The Master men`s team is: Alan Worrall, Clive Ahern, Hans DeRaeymeaker, Ciaran McCarthy and Philip O`Doherty.
