The ladies captain has named her team that`ll compete in next Sunday`s Dublin Intermediate Cross Country Championships in Tymon Park. The team includes the vastly experienced Sinead Hartnett who has come right through the Clonliffe ranks from a young juvenile athlete, Bernadette Kiernan, who only a year ago was competing in the meet and train leagues and a few weeks back had a fine run in the Dublin Senior Cross Country and Bernie Byrne, National Master Champion over 800 and 1500. Also competing next week are the Emmas, Harding and Dunne, Alison O`Sullivan and Jacqui Dunne. The Intermediate women will run over 4,000m.
The men`s team will be confirmed during the week but will include Edgars Sumkiss, 3rd in the Dublin Novice earlier in the season. Sunday will also see the club`s juvenile athletes in the Dublin (uneven ages) with strong teams entered in the boys and girls U/17, U/15 and U/13. More updates during the week.
