Fantastic news from Portmarnock tonight the return to racing of Colm Rooney. There had been whispers of Colm back in training. Then back doing sessions in Malahide Castle. Then doing pretty good sessions and then possibly a come back race. Well tonight it happened. Portmarnock 10k 1st Colm Rooney, 32.04! Rooney beating Raheny`s Freddy Sittuk by a second.
Also in the Portmarnock 5k Declan Hetherington ran 27.15, and meanwhile in Naas Mark Dowling tried to get a sneaky one in: Naas 5k 3rd 18.48.
