Round up: MacMahon does the BHAA business in ALSAA plus more

Brian MacMahon got back to winning ways at Saturday`s BHAA Cross Country, the Dublin Airport 5 mile in ALSAA in a time of 28.21. Also in the field was Sean Doran 7th place (31.01). In the women`s 2 mile race Maura Matthews was a 6th place finisher (14.37).

The sole Clonliffe athlete in Thursday night`s Armagh 5 KM International road race was Eoin Taggart who ran a time of 15.52.

Across the water Liam Roarty was in action for Sunderland Harriers on their 6-Man A team yesterday for the Royal Signals Road Relays yesterday at Hetton Lyons Country Park, Hetton-le-Hole, Durham running the 5th leg for the Wearsiders he finished his leg with his team in 4th place in a time of 11:44. Sunderland ended the day in bronze
with a team time of 68:51 behind Morpeth (65:50) and Gateshead (67:01).
