With tomorrow`s Nationals it was a pretty quiet Saturday. There was of course the small matter of the final round of the Grand Prix Series, the Horan Cup, in Santry, but the result remains a closely guarded secret (until December 7th anyway). So a couple of the U/17 squad, not racing tomorrow, took in the St. Anne`s Park Run: Daniel Stone ran a very nippy 16.51 and Ian McElweney 17.59. Overseas during the week Ella Brown ran for her French Schools at an Indoor Meet winning the 1,000m.
