The British Universities Cross Country took place at Graves Park, Sheffield today with two of the Harriers in action. Fine runs by both with Jayme Rossister having an excellent run to finish 12th in a time of 32:41 and 3rd finisher for Loughborough. Liam Roarty came 114th in a time of 36:08 and 1st finisher for the University of Gloucestershire. Loughborough came 2nd and University of Gloucestershire came 48th out of 57 teams.
Also today in Malahide Castle the Dylan Ahern 5k drew another big entry of almost 50 starters with an equally big turn out of officials and supporters. The winner was Caroline Daly, who was presented with the Dylan Ahern Memorial Cup, 2nd Shane Casey, 3rd Trevor Wisdom. Fastest man was Mick King 18.37 and fastest woman was Aimee Ahern 21.35.
The latest BHAA cross country race took place in the Phoenix Park. The only Clonliffe results we know are: 7th Conor Keane, 8th Sean Doran (club members who run in the BHAA races please note that this is the last time results will be posted here unless someone texts results to 0879599888, with respect life is too short for me to be searching for these results!
