Sergiu Ciobanu was in excellent form in Saturday morning`s Athlone Half Marathon running a fast 66.19. Even more impressive was the fact that with a 5 minute winning margin Sergiu was essentially running solo.
Sean Doran was a 13th place finisher in the Lucan Harriers 5 Mile in 29.16.
In the US Aaron Hanlon will be competing later today for Providence College over the country in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Aaron was 2nd in his season`s opener over 5k last weekend for Providence in Durhan, New Hamshire. (Aaron did not in fact compete today)
Sunday: Declan Power was 3rd in the Ratoath 5k in 16.04. Sean Doran racing a second day this weekend was 8th in 16.55.
