Monday`s Dublin City Marathon also includes the National Marathon Championships. There are a number of Clonliffe athletes who will be in the hunt for National titles. The men`s challenge is lead by two of last year`s team Sergiu Ciobanu and Gary O`Hanlon, both will be mounting serious challenges for medals. The race for that 3rd scoring place will include Anthony Flannery, Declan Power, Dave Brady and Mark Bermingham. The women`s team looks very strong: Barbara Sanchez, Ailish Malone and Jacqui Dunphy. Monday will also include Master`s championships were Clonliffe men including Pat Byrne, Jeremy Chapman and Paddy Tuite will look to medal in the team O/50 and of course Frank Behan will continue his goal of completing every Dublin Marathon to date.
