Trio of PB`s in 1500 recorded at Le Cheile

At tonight`s track meet to celebrate the opening of Le Cheile AC`s track in Leixlip, County Kildare the 1500m produced a trio of pbs from the three Clonliffe athletes in the race. In a fast race Jayme Rossiter made a run for home with 300 to go, it looked like a winning move but he was swallowed up 150 later but battled away with group training partner Aaron Hanlon to place 3rd in a new pb of 3.53.32. Aaron in 4th ran 3.53.70 with Edgars Sumskis 6th in 3.54.66 to complete the set of pbs.

Becky Woods was 4th in the womens 1500 (4.26.53) with Eleanor Alexander 6th (4.29.55). In the A 800 Mark McDonald was 10th (1.56.51). While in the sprints there was a 5th place finish in the A 100 by Isreal Ibeanu (11.05) with Stuart roche 8th (11.30). Leah Moore record an impressive time of 11.94 in the womens 100 and in the 400 Dylan Gibbons ran 53.48.

The men`s International Mile produced a great sub 4 race won by Sam McEntee (AUS) 3.58.41, 2nd Jordy Williamsz (AUS) 3.59.40, 3rd Kevin Batt (IRL) 3.59.53, all three will be in action in the Morton Games in two weeks time.
