Saturday afternoon, April 11th, seen the National 10k Road Championships held in conjunction with the Great Ireland Run. Sergiu Ciobanu was 2nd in a time of 30.20. Also running where Thomas Sherlock, 42nd (34.49) and David Brady 86th in 37.20.
Also on Saturday the BHAA K Club 10k took place in Straffan, the results are on line and include: 24th Davy Byrne 35.17, 25th Ernie Ramsey 35.24, 30th Sean Doran 35.38 and Conor Keane (37.06).
In the USA Clonliffe member Jill Maloney was 7th in the Javeline at the SPEC Town National Teams Invitational on April 11th with a best of 36.65m.
