The weekend`s action included a 3rd place finish by Sergiu Ciobanu in an International Half Marathon in Leiden, Belgium this morning. On a particularly hard course where both the cobblestones and unfavourable weather conditions conspired against fast times Sergiu recorded a 67.14 time.
On the track on Friday Declan Murray was in LA for the Hoka One Middle Distance classic where he ran competitively recording a season`s best of 1.48.04.
Also on the track on Saturday Declan Power ran 32.50 at the High Gate Harriers Night of 10,000 pbs at Parliament Hill Fields.
At Sunday`s Great Manchester 10k Run, Gary Murray, suitably attired in his Clonliffe singlet, finished 13th in 31.03.
