Weekend round up: Tudor Mircea had a good win on the roads on Saturday in County Wicklow as he won the Moone Kilomarathon, 26.2km in 1.30.41 comfortably winning by over two and a half minutes.
Later on Saturday evening in county Louth the Blackrock 4 Mile took place where local Gary O`Hanlon was 2nd in 19.44 followed by a large group of the Clonliffe junior squad: 5th Cathal Doyle 21.16, 6th Adam O`Brien 21.27, 9th Sean Carrig 22.09, 12th Joseph Hession 22.30, 23rd Paul Courtney 24.06, 27th and 1st woman Hope Saunders with an impressive 24.30, 43rd Laura Tuite 25.49 and 53rd Alanah Cooley 26.45.
At today`s Ratharnham 5k Road Race Colm Rooney was 6th in 14.48, other Clonliffe: Tom Sherlock (16.30), Rachel Wisdom (18.58) T.F. (19.13)
Finally the Cork to Cobh 15 Mile was won by Sergiu Ciobanu in 1.18.47.
