Weekend round up (update)

So far Saturday: Chris Sibanda clocked a 60 PB at today’s IFAM Indoor Meet in Gent, Belgium of 6.79, having already in his heat recorded 6.85. At that same meet Leo Morgan ran an SB’s best of 6.89 in both his heat and final. In Miramas, France on Fridau Luke Lennon Ford ran 48.12 placing 4th in his race.

In the USA Sean Cronin ran in one of the World’s biggest Indoor meets, the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston finishing 9th in the junior international mile in a mile PB of 4.15.86.

Also on Saturday in Malahide Richie Barr won the Dylan Ahern Memorial 5k Cross country steeple chase with Tom Monks 2nd and David Dunwoody 3rd. Fastest man was Ray Dunne and Rachel McFadden Fastest woman.

In the BHAA Garda St. Raphael Cross Country Sean Doran was 13th in the men’s 4 mile (25.00) and in the women’s 2 mile Orla Duignan was 16th in 15.45 and Yvonne McDonagh 26th (16.36).

In London on Sunday Kate Hawkshaw ran a most impressive 37.46 10k road race.
