The 5k club championships incorporating the latest round of the Grand Prix took place last night on the track. The winner of the Men’s 2014 title after a great battle was Tom Sherlock in 16.33, holding off Conor Keane by 1 second. There was never more than yard or 2 between the two throughout the race. Ernie Ramsey was 3rd in 16.59. The Ladies race was won by Rachel Wisdom in a time of 19.16, with Aisling Andrews in 2nd with a time of 21.30 and Clodagh Moriarty third in 21.51.
