Well done Matei Ursachi! Matei has just finished 13th in his 2000 sc heat at the European U/18 championships in Banska in 6.10.97. Although he doesn’t progress to the final it was a terrific experience for the young Harrier. Post race Matei told Athletics Ireland in an interview: “It wasn’t too bad, great expereince coming out here. I was just happy to compete”. Many congratulations.
