Following on his fine run in last weekend’s national intermediate cross country Sean Doran hit the muddy fields once again today as he took 1st place in the Teachers 5K cross country race, the latest in the BHAA series, at St Columba’s College in Rathfarnham. Sean took 1st place in a time of 17.31. Also competing were James Dunne 10th, Diarmuid Doyle who took 3rd place in the M65 category and Yvonne McDonagh. Full results are on bhaa.ie
Apart from that it was a relatively quiet weekend on the roads for Clonliffe athletes. Yesterday Declan Power finished 2nd in the Two Mile House 10k in Co Meath time of 35.40, including a course detour!
Today at the Enniscorthy 10k Garett Loy finished 43rd in 38.44.
