Alistair Cragg wins Holyoke St. Patrick`s 10k

Clonliffe`s Alistair Cragg was in action on the roads in the US over the weekend winning the Holyoke ( Massachusetts) St. Patrick`s 10k on Saturday, the 16th. The event web site reports:

“A pack of six runners, including last year’s winner, Zach Hine, of South Hadley, led at the first mile. Hine continued to set the pace at mile four with the pack whittled to four runners, including Cragg, last year’s runner-up Philemon Terer, and Mikael Kahsay.

A minute later, Cragg made a move that couldn’t be answered, gradually pulled away and bested Terer by 5 seconds.”

Cragg`s winning time was 29.20 . Later on Twitter Cragg posted: “Won the Holyoke’s st. Patrick’s 10km today. Sadly I kicked it in and i couldn’t beat @PatrickTarpy ’11 winning time!”
