The even age Dublin Relays took place in Irishtown this evening. A fantastic team effort from the four Clonliffe teams in action saw all medal. The race of the evening was the U/18 girls 4 x 400 where the Clonliffe girls, Rapha, Rebecca, Cliona and Hannah were just superb and in a three way battle for the line lost out on the dip finish to DSD but took silver.
Silver was also won by the U/14 girls team of Sally, Hollie, Naoisa and Orla in the 4 x 100 having battled through the heats and then were again excellent in the final.
Likewise the U/14 4 x 100 boys faced heats and then another great effort in the final by James, Jonas, Jonathan and Ronan saw them take bronze.
Bronze also for the U/16 girls 4 x 100 team of Cara, Sarah, Vicky and Amy (all middle distance athletes) after a fantastic battle particularly from Amy going from 5th to 3rd on the final leg.
