The BHAA road racing season kicked off in St. Anne`s, Raheny yesterday (Sat. the 2nd) with the DCC Road Races. There were a number of the club`s athletes competing, results are on bhaa.ie, however a quick scan through shows: men`s 4 mile 2nd Declan Power 20.57, 4th Tom Sherlock 21.26, 6th Sean Doran 21.43. women`s 2 mile: 7th Maura Matthews 12,45, 10th Emma Cooper 12.55, 16th great to see Christine Hannelly 13.16, 25th Kerri Page 13.50 (again folks it would be really helpful if you guys would text me your results 0879599888 as it`s asking a lot to expect me to know every single club member!!)
The 4 mile theme continued today (Sunday the 3rd) with the Eirgrid Dunboyne 4 Mile where Sean Doran was at it again the first Clonliffe finisher 23rd in 21.48. Others: Joseph Cooper (23.22) and Jean Carr (27.25) 1st O/55.
