Big PB for Flynner over 3,000 indoors

While the Nationals was occupying minds at home over in the USA David Flynn was in fine form for Arkansas University. On Saturday Flynner ran a huge PB of 8.13.85 over 3,000m indoors when finishing 3rd at Nutterfield House, Lexington. This was an impressive performance in a tactical race, the field went through the mile in 4.31 (8.28 pace) so the last few laps were run at some speed. 24 hours later he ran 14.37.23 for 5,000 as the Razerbacks took the 2012 South Eastern Conference title. Next up for Flynner is a 3,000 in Notre Dame this weekend where he plans to go even faster.
