Cathal Doyle made another big step forward with a brilliant run in the 1500 at today’s Loughborough International at the Paula Radcliffe Stadium. With a stunning last lap Cathal ran a top class 3.42.64 to finish 3rd knocking 2 seconds off his two week old PB. This is within Athletics Ireland’s a standard of 3.44.00 for the European U/23s.
Another PB was recorded at the meet by Jayme Rossiter in the 3000 sc taking all of 5 seconds off his best running 8.54.58 to 3rd place.
A PB also for Thomas Pitkin of 47.71 in the 400, to make it 3 pbs on the day from the 3 Clonliffe boys!
