Brian Gregan brought his 2013 season to a close this evening with a third place finish in Rovereto in 46.35. Gregan had a season of highs and lows setting news pbs and indeed Clonliffe club records over 200 (21.05) and 400 (45.53) and also setting pbs and club records indoors 200 (21.27) and 400 (46.07). He qualified for and competed in three major championships: European Indoors, World University Games and World Championships, however, he was himself disappointed with the outcome at these championships, in particular the World University Games where he placed 5th in the final. He has also found his season cut into two halves as a result of injury which hasn`t been ideal to say the least.
