Having ran a 57.00 400 PB earlier in the season Leah Bergin shattered that today at the AAI Games, Day 2 clocking a superb 56.11 in winning her race. That moves Leah into 7th position on the Clonliffe all time list.
Also clocking a fast time today was Keith Pike in the 100 10.64 unfortunately however with the aid of an illegal tail wind! Keith had ran 10.84 in series 1. Leo Morgan clocked 10.77 and Pierce Friel 11.09. Anna Heavey ran 13.49 placing 4th in her 100. In the 1500 Darren O’Dwyer ran 4.16.58 placing 14th.
Eoin Sheridan was the class of the field in the discus winning with a 51.83 best.
