The weekend action got underway at Morton Stadium tonight with day 1 of the Dublin Juvenile Indoor Championships. Caitlin O`Reilly got the Clonliffe team off to an excellent start winning the girls U/16 long jump with a best jump of 4.85m. In the U/15 long jump Rebecca Fitzsimons took bronze. Bronze also for Daniel Lacey in the U/16 1500, while Paul Courtney was in that unlucky 4th position in the U/19 1500.
Tomorrow`s events include the 200s and 800s with a 10.00am start.
