Caitlin O’Reilly continued her excellent form over the past two weekends in securing yet another Dublin Juvenile indoor title. On Saturday she added the U/16 60m title to her 200, long jump and 4 x 200 won the previous weekend. Dublin gold was also won by Sally Sumola who won the U/12 60m.
There were also other excellent Clonliffe performances on the day, young Jonathan Fitzsimons won silver in the U/11 60m and likewise silver for Michael Colman in the U/12 60m. Rebecca Fitzsimmons added another medal to her collection as she took bronze in the Girls U/15 60m.
There were great performances over the course of Saturday including David Coleman and Adam Flynn in the U/10, both of whom made it through to their final and James McDonald who made the U/12 final. All of our U/12, 13 and 14 girls made it safely through their heats and qualified for their semis with some excellent performances and all can now look forward to the forthcoming outdoor track and field season with some degree of confidence.
