Cathal Doyle wound up his recent racing schedule in advance of the upcoming European Indoor Championships with the 1500 in last night’s Madrid Gold Indoor Grand Prix. In a slow tactical race, won by Melese Nberet (ETH) in 3.38.22 Cathal was 5th (3.39.62). Next up is Apeldoorn, Netherlands from March 6th to 9th for those European Indoors along with Marcus Lawler, who has been selected in the 4 x 400 mixed relay.
