Also taking place today was the universities cross country in Cork. The news is that Cathal Doyle has taken a fine win adding the varsities cross country title to his track 5000 title from last year and leading DCU to the team win. Also competing where Stephen Cashin a fine 18th and 4th scorer for the bronze winning Trinity team. Ryan Jordan Byrne was 50th with Ryan Sheridan. Alannah Cooley was 30th in the ladies race.
