Clonliffe at Clontarf

A good contingent of Clonliffe Harriers made the short journey to the seafront this morning for the Clontarf 5 mile and half marathon on what was a nippy fresh November morning. In the 5 mile first of the Clonliffe crew home was Anthony Doran in fourth place (29.25), seventh was Mick McMahon (29.54) with Ray Dunne 12th (31.23). Other Clonliffe in the 5 mile: Peter Bissett (33.29), Diarmuid Doyle (36.31), Orla Deighnan (37.48), Brid Beausang (38.46), Steve Barnes (41.16), Yvonne McDonagh (43.39) and Emer Brennan (43.07).

Philip O’Doherty was the lead Clonliffe athlete in the half marathon recording a time of 1.28.57. Also in the half Joseph Fowler (1.33.39), Clodagh Moriarty (1.45.14), Aideen O’Connor (1.48.50) and Anthony O’Brien (1.59.27).

Mary Ketterer took in the Lusk East of Ireland half marathon where she recorded a time of 1.37.0.
