A number of Clonliffe athletes as part of their preparations for the indoor league took in tonight’s NIA Live Series at the National indoor arena, Abbotstown. Jenny Johnston had a fine first outing on the “boards” running an excellent race to win heat 1 of the 1500 in 5.00.79. Chris Sibanda got his season off to a positive start recording a time of 6.98 to take 2nd place in the 60. In the 400 David Dunwoody was 4th in heat 2 in 62.63. Edel Maguire was 4th in her 400 (72.88) Matt Slattery was back at it after injury 4th in his 200 heat (32.57).
