Although the indoor season is on it’s wind down there was still a good turn out of Clonliffe athletes at tonight’s NIA Live Meet in Abbotstown. Jonny Fitzsimons had an excellent run in the 400 winning heat 4 in 50.43. Paraic McGreary was 3rd in his race clocking 55.16. In the 60 Pierce Friel had his first outing in sometime running 7.22 and later 7.27. Adam Festus recorded 7.58 and 7.59.
Young Jack Quinn in his mile race ran 4.42.35 placing 5th. The 800 saw Fintan Kerins finish 4th in 1.59.08 with Jack Maughan hot on his heels, 5th in 2.00.21.
Finally U/12 Ava Fagan won her 600 heat.
