Clonliffe athletes in fine form at Drogheda IMC

With the men going in the national league final in a week’s time and then the nationals a week later there were most encouraging performances by Clonliffe athletes at Saturday’s IMC meet in Drogheda. Ian Guiden showed a very welcome return to form running a 14 second 3000 PB of 8.15.05 in finishing 4th. Colm Rooney was 6th (8.23.81) and Eoin Taggart 8.42.98 another PB by some 6 seconds.

Keith Pike won the 100 in an sb of 10.83. Mark McDonald was 2nd in the 400 B in 53.31. Eoghan Murphy was 3rd in the 800 D (2.05.05).

There was a fine win for Lauren Carr in the 200 (25.11) and Leah Bergin was 3rd in the 400 (58.84)
