Clonliffe host Global 6k for Water

This evening Clonliffe Harriers in partnership with World Vision hosted the Global 6K for water club fun run. There was a great turnout of Harriers of all ages for the run starting on the track and then completing 3 full laps of the beautiful Santry Demesne Park on a truly beautiful summer’s evening.

The runners were all adorned with World Vision T-shirts and bibs showing the faces of children in the developing world. The message of the event being that on average in the developing world children face the challenge of a 6K walk every day in order to get clean safe water to drink and cook it. The donations received today will make a tangible difference to those children.

A huge thank you to the Clonliffe Harriers who got involved either by running, officiating or donating.
