The Clonliffe men put in a very solid day’s work in the Tampere Stadium in Finland in ECCC Group B track and field. Keith Marks winning the long jump with a 7.40 jump and Simon Galligan 2nd in the hammer the highlights. Very solid stuff from the middle distance boys. A fantastic 4×100 team of Leo Morgan Keith Marks, Eamonn Fahey and Keith Pike were 2nd in a superb 41.55 and in the 4×400 Thomas Pitkin, Luke Lennon Ford, Dara Kervick and Timmy Crowe 3rd in 3.16.11 in the lashing rain.
The team ended the day in a satisfying 4th position.
