Clonliffe men win at Armagh International 5k

The big road race this week was tonight’s Armagh international 5K, possibly the fastest 5K in Europe. Tonight’s race was won by Andrew Colley (USA), a past competitor in the Morton mile in a time of 13.33, as no less than 152 athletes broke 15 minutes. The Clonliffe men’s team became the 1st Irish club to win the club team race, with a scoring 4 of: Efrem Gidey 8th (13.51), Colm Rooney 29th (14.04), Stephen Scullion 46th (14.13) and Stephen Cashin 97th in a PB of 14.37. Ben Guiden in 129th also ran a PB (14.48), Fintan Kerins 103rd (14.53) and Sean Carrigg, a new PB of 15.13.
