The Clonliffe novice men on Sunday morning won the Dublin 5K Road Novice Championship held in Tallaght. The Novice is incorporated in the Tallaght 5k. With two in the top three of the novice it was a pretty solid win. Conor Keane lead the team home in 2nd, 6th overall (16.39), 3rd in the novice and 8th overall was Alex Gibbons (16.44), 9th Dave Brady (16.48) and 11th Thomas Ward (16.52), for a points total of 25. Jack Maughan was just out of the scoring 4 in 12th place (17.12)

Also on Sunday Robert Reid, who has just rejoined Clonliffe after more than a few years away from the club, was 15th in the Boyne 10k in 37.56.
Meanwhile Liam Roarty place 6th in the 1500 heats at Saturday`s BUC Championship in 4.22.97. On bank holiday Monday Liam was 3rd in a 3000m at the Brewer Games, Cheltenham in a pb of 9.22.00.
Also today, bank holiday Monday Declan Power was 3rd in the Leinster 5k Novice and Masters Road Championships in Kilkenny and 1st master O/45 in 19.19. Back acrss the water Jayme Rossister was 4th in the BUC 3000 sc in 9.08.16.
